Job Summary
To support payroll tax compliance efforts, the contract Sr. Payroll Tax Analyst will manage multi-state and international payroll tax filings, resolve complex payroll tax issues, and implement regulatory updates while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Manage multi-state and international payroll tax compliance, filings, reconciliations, and reporting
- Process payroll accurately while researching and resolving complex payroll tax and W-2 related issues
- Monitor regulatory changes and implement payroll tax updates, amendments, and system enhancements
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or an Associate's degree with 5+ years of payroll tax experience
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) is preferred
- Experience with payroll platforms such as ADP Workforce Now, SmartCompliance, and Workday
- Strong knowledge of payroll tax compliance, account reconciliations, audits, and regulatory requirements
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and process improvement skills with exceptional attention to detail
