Ohio Licensed Pediatric Nurse

Job Summary

To provide pediatric care and support, the part-time Ohio Licensed Pediatric Nurse will assess and recommend care for patients, document interactions, and collaborate with healthcare providers during evening shifts from 3 PM to 11 PM, including every other weekend and holiday.

Key responsibilities

• Assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and directs family-centered nursing care for pediatric patients
• Provides general health information and schedules appointments as needed
• Collaborates with team members to ensure quality care and customer service for patients

Required qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required or must be obtained within 5 years of hire
• Current Ohio Registered Nurse (RN) license required, with Multistate License (MSL) needed within 90 days for telenursing
• Minimum of three years of relevant pediatric experience required, with preference for pediatric critical care experience
• Current certification in Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association required
• Experience with Microsoft Office and electronic medical records preferred
