Job Summary
Providing exceptional patient support, the full-time Ohio Licensed Pharmacy Technician will work remotely from 12:30 PM to 9:00 PM ET, handling inbound and outbound calls, managing medication profiles, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.
Key responsibilities
- Delivering outstanding customer service in a phone-based environment by addressing patient inquiries and resolving issues
- Managing high volumes of inbound and outbound calls to maintain and update patient medication profiles
- Performing claim adjudication and auditing duties, including prior authorizations and billing checks
Required qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- High school diploma or GED required
- Prior experience in a pharmacy setting is necessary
- Certification from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or the National Health Association (NHA) is required, along with current registration with the State Board of Pharmacy
- Ability to work in a remote office setting that requires sitting at a desk for 90% of the time
