Ohio Licensed Pharmacy Technician

Job Summary

To provide exceptional patient care in a remote environment, the full-time Ohio Licensed Pharmacy Technician will manage inbound and outbound calls, assist with medication profiles, and support patient inquiries while navigating various pharmacy software systems.

Key responsibilities

• Providing an exceptional customer service experience in a phone-based environment
• Answering a high volume of inbound calls and placing outbound calls to maintain and update patient medication profiles
• Performing claim adjudication and auditing duties, including prior authorizations and billing checks

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Certification from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or National Health Association (NHA) with current registration
• Prior experience in a pharmacy setting
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, phone-based environment
