Ohio Licensed Pharmacy Technician

Job Summary

To support a growing pharmacy care management team, the full-time Ohio Licensed Pharmacy Technician will provide exceptional customer service in a remote environment, processing prescription information, managing patient records, and facilitating communication between patients and healthcare professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Providing an exceptional customer service experience in a phone-based environment
• Processing prescription information with speed and accuracy while performing claim adjudication and auditing duties
• Serving as a liaison between clinical pharmacists and medical professionals on behalf of patients

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Certification with the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or the National Health Association (NHA) and current pharmacy technician registration with the State Board of Pharmacy
• Prior experience in a pharmacy setting
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Ability to work independently in a remote office-based environment
