Ohio Licensed Pharmacy Technician

Job Summary

To support a growing pharmacy care management team, the full-time Ohio Licensed Pharmacy Technician will provide exceptional customer service in a remote environment, process prescription information, and assist with patient care by navigating multiple pharmacy software systems.

Key responsibilities

• Providing an exceptional customer service experience in a phone-based environment
• Entering a high volume of data and processing prescription information with speed and accuracy
• Performing claim adjudication and auditing duties, including prior authorizations and billing checks

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Certification with the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or the National Health Association (NHA)
• Current pharmacy technician registration with the State Board of Pharmacy
• Prior experience in a pharmacy setting
• Ability to work independently in a remote office-based environment
