Ohio Licensed Pharmacy Technician

Job Summary

To support a growing pharmacy care management team, the full-time Ohio Licensed Pharmacy Technician will provide exceptional customer service in a remote environment, process prescription information, and serve as a liaison between patients and healthcare professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Providing an exceptional customer service experience in a phone-based environment
• Entering a high volume of data and processing prescription information with speed and accuracy
• Performing claim adjudication and auditing duties, including prior authorizations and billing checks

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Certified with the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or the National Health Association (NHA) and maintain a current certificate
• Must maintain a pharmacy technician registration with the State Board of Pharmacy
• Prior experience in a pharmacy setting
• Ability to perform in an office-based (or remote) setting that requires sitting at a desk 90% of the time
