Ohio Licensed Pharmacy Technician

Job Summary

To support medication delivery in communities, the full-time Ohio Licensed Pharmacy Technician will manage inbound and outbound calls for order processing, assist in filling prescriptions, and input patient data while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Manage calls related to setting up orders and coordinate with medical providers and patients to ensure timely medication delivery
• Input patient data and prescription information into the pharmacy information management system
• Assist the Pharmacist in filling prescription orders and take verbal prescription orders from licensed prescribers as permitted by state laws

Required qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience preferred
• 1-2 years of experience in a mail order or retail pharmacy setting preferred
• Registered or Certified Pharmacy Technician, preferably in retail, mail order, or specialty pharmacy
• Active state or national certification in good standing
• Insurance billing experience preferred
