Ohio Licensed Pharmacy Technician

Job Summary

To support patient care in a remote environment, the full-time Ohio Licensed Pharmacy Technician will manage inbound and outbound calls, assist with medication profiles, and provide exceptional customer service while navigating pharmacy software systems.

Key responsibilities

• Providing an exceptional customer service experience in a phone-based environment
• Answering a high volume of inbound calls and placing outbound calls to patients regarding their medication profiles
• Maintaining patient records and performing claim adjudication and auditing duties, including prior authorizations and billing checks

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Certification with the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or the National Health Association (NHA)
• Current pharmacy technician registration with the State Board of Pharmacy
• Prior experience in a pharmacy setting
• Must be 18 years of age or older
