Ohio Licensed Pharmacy Technician

Job Summary

To support a growing pharmacy care management team, the part-time Ohio Licensed Pharmacy Technician will provide exceptional customer service in a remote environment, process prescription information, and assist with patient care by navigating multiple pharmacy software systems.

Key responsibilities

• Providing an exceptional customer service experience in a phone-based environment
• Entering a high volume of data and processing prescription information with speed and accuracy
• Serving as a liaison between clinical pharmacists and medical professionals on behalf of patients

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Certification from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or the National Health Association (NHA), with current registration
• Prior experience in a pharmacy setting
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Ability to work independently in a remote office-based setting
