Ohio Licensed Pharmacy Technician

Job Summary

To support the Pharmacy Concierge team, the full-time Ohio Licensed Pharmacy Technician will coordinate alternative pharmacy sourcing for patients, ensuring timely access to medications through various channels while working remotely from 11am to 7pm.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as a liaison between patients, providers, and pharmacies to facilitate alternative sourcing solutions
• Identify and verify appropriate channels for non-covered or high-cost medications and prepare cost comparisons and reports
• Track sourcing outcomes and assist members in navigating the sourcing and delivery process while maintaining compliance standards

Required qualifications

• Ohio Licensed Pharmacy Technician certification
• Two plus years of experience in a pharmacy technician or care coordination role
• Familiarity with pharmacy benefit structures and prior authorization processes
• Associate or Bachelor's degree
• Experience in PBM or specialty pharmacy settings
