Ohio Licensed Pharmacy Technician

Job Summary

To support a growing Patient Engagement Center, the full-time Ohio Licensed Pharmacy Technician will provide exceptional customer service in a remote call center environment, handling inbound and outbound calls, managing patient medication profiles, and navigating pharmacy software systems.

Key responsibilities

• Providing an exceptional customer service experience in a phone-based environment
• Answering a high volume of inbound calls and placing outbound calls to assist patients with their medication profiles
• Maintaining patient records and performing claim adjudication and auditing duties

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Certification with the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or the National Health Association (NHA) and current pharmacy technician registration with the State Board of Pharmacy
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Prior experience in a pharmacy setting
• Thorough knowledge of pharmacy billing and drug information
