Job Summary
Seeking an Ohio Licensed Pharmacy Technician, the full-time Pharmacy Benefit Verification Specialist will work remotely to investigate and verify patient insurance benefits, ensuring accurate documentation and facilitating medication coverage processes.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide first call resolution to assist healthcare providers and patients with pharmacy inquiries
- Perform comprehensive benefits verification for pharmacy and medical benefits using electronic resources
- Document outcomes of benefits reviews in the CPR+ system to support pharmacy operations
Required qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED; previous experience in pharmacy, medical billing, or benefits verification
- 1+ years of pharmacy or benefit verification experience
- Active Pharmacy Technician License/Registration with the Board of Pharmacy
- Knowledge of pharmacy insurance, Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance processes
- Intermediate typing/keyboarding skills and basic math abilities
