Ohio Licensed Pharmacy Technician
Job Summary
Providing essential support to patients, the full-time Ohio Licensed Pharmacy Technician in Medication Access will assist with pharmacy and insurance-related inquiries, coordinate medication delivery, and ensure accurate prescription procurement while working remotely Monday through Friday on 4-10 hour shifts.
Key responsibilities
- Communicate with patients and caregivers to facilitate timely and accurate prescription procurement and documentation
- Identify and address medication-related access issues in collaboration with patients and a multi-disciplinary team
- Assist in developing and implementing policies for a seamless medication procurement process
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- Minimum six months of related pharmacy experience
- Registration as a Certified Pharmacy Technician, Registered Pharmacy Technician, or Pharmacy Technician Trainee with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy upon hire
- Eligibility for Certification as a Pharmacy Technician with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy
- Completion of a formal pharmacy technician training program is preferred
