Ohio Licensed Pharmacy Technician
Job Summary
Supporting medication management and patient care, the full-time Ohio Licensed Pharmacy Technician in Value Based Care will work remotely Monday through Friday, focusing on identifying medication-related concerns, coordinating education and medication delivery, and assisting with policy implementation.
Key responsibilities
- Communicate with patients and caregivers to ensure timely and accurate prescription procurement and documentation
- Identify and resolve medication-related access problems in collaboration with patients and the multi-disciplinary team
- Monitor program performance and assist with quality control programs in the pharmacy area
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- Minimum six months of related pharmacy experience
- Registration as a Certified Pharmacy Technician, Registered Pharmacy Technician, or Pharmacy Technician Trainee with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy upon hire
- Eligibility for Certification as a Pharmacy Technician within six months of hire
- Completion of a formal pharmacy technician training program is preferred
