Ohio Licensed Pharmacy Technician

Job Summary

To support a growing pharmacy care management service, the full-time Ohio Licensed Pharmacy Technician will provide exceptional customer service in a remote environment, processing prescription information, performing claim adjudication, and serving as a liaison between patients and healthcare professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Providing an exceptional customer service experience in a phone-based environment
• Processing a high volume of prescription information accurately and efficiently
• Performing claim adjudication, including prior authorizations and billing tasks, while maintaining patient records

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Certification with the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or National Health Association (NHA)
• Current pharmacy technician registration with the State Board of Pharmacy
• Prior experience in a pharmacy setting
• Ability to work in a remote office environment, primarily sitting at a desk
