Job Summary
Providing exceptional patient support, the full-time Ohio Licensed Pharmacy Technician will work remotely to manage prescription data entry, handle patient communications, and assist with medication authorizations in a fast-paced pharmacy environment.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding customer service in a phone-based setting while processing prescription information accurately
- Perform claim adjudication, including prior authorizations and billing checks, while maintaining patient records
- Act as a liaison between clinical pharmacists and medical professionals to ensure effective patient care
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Current certification from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or National Health Association (NHA)
- Active pharmacy technician registration with the State Board of Pharmacy
- Prior experience in a pharmacy setting
- Must be at least 18 years of age
