Job Summary

A company is looking for a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner specializing in Addiction Medicine.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, treat, and manage care for individuals with substance use disorders (SUDs)
• Incorporate harm reduction practices and help patients achieve their recovery goals
• Coordinate treatment plans and provide care through telehealth, ensuring effective communication and documentation

Required Qualifications

• Active NP license and PMHNP certification in the state of residency
• At least 1 year of experience prescribing buprenorphine-based medications in an outpatient setting
• Degree from an accredited nursing school and a graduate-level clinician program
• Minimum 1 year of addiction treatment experience as an NP
• Proficiency in electronic medical records and video conferencing tools
