Ohio Licensed Research Nurse Coordinator

Job Summary

Supporting the Gynecologic Oncology team, the part-time PRN Research Nurse Coordinator will coordinate and conduct human subject research studies remotely in Ohio, ensuring compliance with protocols, screening and enrolling patients, and providing research-related nursing care.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the implementation of research projects while ensuring adherence to research protocol requirements
• Screen, recruit, consent, and enroll patients into clinical trials, providing necessary nursing care and monitoring adverse events
• Maintain regulatory documentation and assist with trial activation, protocol updates, and patient education materials

Required qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross
• Four years of clinical experience and two years of research experience
• In-depth knowledge of the specialty under investigation and understanding of federal regulations and good clinical practice (GCP)
