Ohio Licensed Residential Appraiser

Job Summary

To support the Residential Real Estate Technical Services Department, the full-time Ohio Licensed Residential Appraiser will conduct thorough desk reviews of residential appraisals for compliance with guidelines, analyze property values, and mentor junior team members in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Complete desk reviews of appraisals to ensure compliance with company and investor guidelines
• Analyze and evaluate appraisal results, addressing various factors affecting property values
• Mentor and support less experienced team members in their professional development

Required qualifications:

• 5+ years as a licensed, certified, or trainee appraiser
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently in a high-volume environment with minimal supervision
• Familiarity with Uniform Standards of Appraisal Practice and generally accepted appraisal standards
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
