Job Summary

Evaluating and negotiating commercial insurance opportunities, the full-time Ohio Licensed Risk Placement Specialist will work hybrid or remotely to develop coverage solutions, secure competitive terms, and manage the placement process for new business, collaborating closely with insurance carriers and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Review commercial insurance submissions and develop placement strategies to secure competitive coverage solutions
• Negotiate terms and obtain quotes directly from insurance carriers to ensure optimal coverage
• Build and maintain productive relationships with insurance carriers, underwriters, and internal producer partners

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred
• 5 years of experience in Commercial Insurance within a retail brokerage or independent agency
• Experience marketing and placing commercial insurance accounts
• P&C License required
• Experience with E&S Marketplace coverage is required
