Job Summary

Evaluating and placing commercial insurance opportunities, the full-time Ohio Licensed Risk Placement Specialist will negotiate terms, develop coverage solutions, and manage the placement process in a hybrid or remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Review commercial insurance submissions and develop placement strategies to secure competitive coverage solutions
• Negotiate terms with insurance carriers and obtain quotes to successfully place new business
• Build and maintain relationships with insurance carriers, underwriters, and internal producer partners to facilitate effective placements

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred
• 5 years of commercial insurance experience within a retail brokerage or independent agency
• Experience marketing and placing commercial insurance accounts
• P&C License required
• Experience with E&S Marketplace coverage is required
