Ohio Licensed Risk Placement Specialist

Job Summary

Evaluating and placing commercial insurance opportunities, the full-time Ohio Licensed Risk Placement Specialist will negotiate terms, develop coverage solutions, and manage submissions while working in a hybrid or remote environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Review commercial insurance submissions and develop placement strategies to secure competitive coverage solutions
• Negotiate terms and obtain quotes directly from insurance carriers to ensure optimal placements
• Build and maintain productive relationships with insurance carriers, underwriters, and internal producer partners

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred
• 5 years of commercial insurance experience within a retail brokerage or independent agency
• Experience marketing and placing commercial insurance accounts
• Experience with E&S Marketplace coverage is required
• P&C License required; advanced industry designations (e.g., CPCU, CIC, ARM) are a plus
