Ohio Licensed Roadway Design Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Roadway Design Engineer to support its Transportation Practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform engineering design tasks for roadway projects from preliminary to final design
• Develop specifications, cost estimates, and prepare final bid packages
• Mentor junior engineers and coordinate design activities with staff and clients

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering required
• PE preferred or ability to obtain within 1 year of hire
• 4+ years of progressive engineering experience in transportation and roadway design
• Experience with DOT design projects required; NCDOT or ODOT experience is a plus
• Preferred experience with Micro Station, Geopak, and OpenRoads Designer (ORD) software
