Ohio Licensed Roadway Design Engineer

Job Summary

To support and grow the Transportation Practice, the full-time Ohio Licensed Roadway Design Engineer will perform engineering design tasks for roadway projects, develop specifications and cost estimates, and mentor junior engineers, with opportunities for remote work available for candidates located in Ohio.

Key responsibilities

• Perform engineering design tasks for roadway projects from preliminary to final design
• Develop specifications, cost estimates, and prepare final bid packages
• Mentor junior engineers in developing final design plans and coordinate design activities with team members and clients

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering required
• P.E. license required; Ohio PE preferred, with expectation to obtain within the first year of hire
• 10 to 20 years of progressive engineering experience in transportation and roadway design
