Job Summary

A company is looking for a Secondary Social Studies Teacher.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide grading and feedback on student assignments across various social studies subjects
• Host weekly virtual group tutoring sessions and maintain a message board for additional student support
• Act as an Academic Advisor for a caseload of students, ensuring regular check-ins and support plans

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in History, Secondary Education, or related field
• Ohio teaching certification or the ability to obtain it
• At least 3 years of full-time experience teaching high school social studies in the United States
• Professional experience supporting students in secondary education within the last 5 years
• Currently living in Ohio, within 25 miles of Ohio, or willing to relocate to Ohio
