Ohio Licensed Senior Pharmacy Technician

Job Summary

Providing exceptional patient care remotely, the full-time Ohio Licensed Senior Pharmacy Technician will manage phone-based interactions, process prescription information, and serve as a liaison between patients and healthcare professionals in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a subject matter expert in assigned tasks and provide exceptional customer service in a phone-based environment
• Process a high volume of prescription data accurately and efficiently, including claim adjudication and patient onboarding
• Collaborate with clinical pharmacists and medical professionals to resolve patient care issues and maintain confidentiality of patient records

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Current certification from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or the National Health Association (NHA)
• Valid pharmacy technician registration with the State Board of Pharmacy
• 2-3 years of prior experience in a pharmacy setting
• Must be at least 18 years of age
