Ohio Licensed Senior Staff Accountant

Job Summary

Providing accounting and financial support, the full-time Ohio Licensed Senior Staff Accountant will ensure accurate financial reporting and internal controls while working remotely, managing general ledger accounts, preparing journal entries, and performing financial analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain general ledger accounts and prepare month-end journal entries
• Analyze income statements, identify variances to budget, and provide explanations
• Oversee process improvement initiatives and assist with training staff on accounting systems

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required)
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred
• 5 years of related experience (required); 7 years preferred
• Proficiency in integrated financial systems and GAAP
• Experience in healthcare accounting preferred
