Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Underwriter - Contract Surety (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Underwrite new and renewal surety submissions by analyzing relevant documentation
• Make informed decisions on risks within assigned authority, following company guidelines
• Manage a profitable book of business and maintain relationships with brokers and clients

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 3-5 years of progressively complex underwriting experience in contract surety
• Strong understanding of financial statements and credit analysis
• Knowledge of construction processes and the law of suretyship
• Professional insurance designation preferred (e.g., AFSB, CPCU)
