Job Summary
Covering the Night Shift from 1 AM to 10 AM EST, the full-time salaried Ohio Licensed Systems Administrator Lead will support, maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize large-scale HPC and AI infrastructure in a remote environment, ensuring critical overnight coverage for infrastructure issues.
Key responsibilities
- Administer and troubleshoot Linux-based HPC and AI compute environments, focusing on large-scale GPU clusters
- Serve as a senior escalation point for complex incidents, diagnosing hardware and software failures to restore service
- Lead incident response for critical infrastructure events, maintaining accurate records and creating root-cause analyses
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
- 7+ years of experience in Linux systems administration, HPC/AI infrastructure, or data center operations
- Hands-on experience with enterprise server hardware and large-scale NVIDIA GPU infrastructure
- Strong understanding of server hardware, firmware, and networking, with experience diagnosing failures using OS logs
- Proficiency in automation/scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Ansible
