Ohio Licensed Teacher Supervisor
Job Summary
To support education students in Ohio, the part-time Introductory Field Student Teacher Supervisor will oversee and assess preservice teachers in designated counties, ensuring effective mentorship and guidance through in-person visits while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct multiple placement visits to supervise preservice teachers throughout the semester
- Maintain proactive communication with mentor teachers and provide regular updates to the Program Manager
- Grade preservice teacher assignments and support their development within the licensure program
Required qualifications
- Master's degree in Education
- 5+ years of K-12 teaching experience
- Hold/held a 5-year Professional Teaching Licensure
- Must reside in or near the county where the position is located
- Familiarity with the Ohio Teacher Evaluation System (OTES) and Ohio Standards for the Teaching Profession (OSTP)
