Ohio Licensed Telephone Triage Nurse

Job Summary

A company is looking for a PRN Telephone Triage Nurse to provide remote nursing support to patients seeking healthcare guidance.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for patients with health-related inquiries
• Conduct nursing assessments and prioritize patient concerns using evidence-based triage guidelines
• Document encounters and decisions accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR)

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
• Current state license as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or Red Cross
• Three or more years of RN experience in relevant medical settings
• Skilled in navigating EMR systems, preferably EPIC
