Job Summary
A company is looking for a Telephonic Case Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform initial and ongoing clinical assessments via telephone to evaluate clients' needs and create case management plans
- Negotiate appropriate treatment levels and coordinate return-to-work efforts with employers and providers
- Monitor case progress, measure outcomes, and maintain accurate records of management activities
Required Qualifications
- Current unrestricted RN license in a state or territory of the United States
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) preferred or equivalent work experience
- Certification in case management, rehabilitation nursing, or a related specialty is highly preferred
- Five years of related experience, including two years providing direct clinical care
- Knowledge of workers' compensation laws and regulations
