Job Summary
A company is looking for a Telephonic Case Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform initial and ongoing clinical assessments via telephone to evaluate client needs and create a case management plan
- Negotiate and coordinate medical treatment and disability duration with providers and employers
- Monitor case progress and maintain accurate records of management, including costs and client satisfaction
Required Qualifications
- Current unrestricted RN license in a state or territory of the United States
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) preferred or equivalent work experience
- Five years of related experience, including two years of direct clinical care
- Certification in case management or a related specialty is highly preferred
- Knowledge of workers' compensation laws and regulations
