Ohio Licensed Trial Attorney

Job Summary

Seeking an Ohio Licensed Trial Attorney, the full-time remote Sr. Liability Trial Attorney will represent commercial insureds in high complexity General Liability and Commercial Auto personal injury cases, handling all aspects of insurance defense from initial investigation to trial preparation and execution.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and try high exposure personal injury cases while managing pre-trial discovery and trial proceedings
• Conduct legal analysis and research, and prepare legal pleadings and documents to achieve favorable outcomes for clients
• Collaborate with claims adjusters to develop case strategies and ensure timely resolutions while maintaining compliance with legal standards

Required qualifications

• Juris Doctor with 7+ years of experience in litigation
• Active member in good standing of the Ohio State Bar Association
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe, and legal research tools such as Lexis or Westlaw
• Knowledge of the insurance industry and insurance defense litigation
• First chair jury trial experience preferred
