Job Summary

A company is looking for an Underwriter to manage underwriting tasks in a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Underwrite new and renewal business while meeting production goals
• Approve or disapprove endorsement quote requests based on guidelines
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients and market products

Required Qualifications

• Licensed in corresponding areas of insurance or willing to obtain licensure upon hire
• Ability to analyze insurance policies and understand client needs
• Knowledge of commercial multi-line underwriting and rating
• Proficient in company automation tools including Windows, Word, and Excel
• Ability to maintain current knowledge of the insurance industry
