Ohio Licensed Underwriting Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr. Analyst - Underwriting, Group Benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze risk for individual applicants and employer group coverage, making underwriting decisions
• Process and underwrite specialty products and manage project work as assigned
• Serve as a subject matter expert for lower-level underwriters and maintain relationships with internal and external customers

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• 3 or more years of experience in Group Health Benefits underwriting preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
• Familiarity with the health insurance market
• Life Office Management Association (LOMA) certification preferred
