Job Summary
Analyzing complex workers' compensation claims, the full-time Ohio Licensed Workers Comp Examiner will investigate claims, manage action plans for resolution, and ensure compliance with industry standards while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Investigates and processes complex claims to assist employers in determining their position on claims
- Monitors claims for reserve adequacy and prepares necessary state filings within statutory limits
- Communicates with all relevant parties regarding claim actions and maintains professional client relationships
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred
- Four (4) years of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required
- In-depth knowledge of insurance principles, laws, and cost containment principles
- Licenses as required, with professional certification preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and strong analytical skills
