Job Summary
To support revenue integrity, the full-time Oklahoma Certified Billing Specialist will manage accurate claim submissions and follow-ups in a remote environment, focusing on correcting claim errors and meeting established productivity standards.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and submit professional claims while correcting routine errors and rejections
- Work through assigned billing and follow-up queues in Epic
- Apply knowledge of CPT, ICD 10 CM, modifiers, and payer rules to ensure compliance
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- At least 1 year of medical insurance experience for Level 1 or 3 years for Level 2
- CPB certification required within 1 year of hire for Level 2
