Job Summary
To support crisis response efforts, the full-time Oklahoma Crisis Specialist will receive, respond to, and triage crisis and healthcare requests, ensuring safety and coordinating care while working remotely from Oklahoma.
Key responsibilities
- Answer and triage incoming crisis and healthcare service requests, coordinating care effectively through various communication methods
- Utilize clinical assessment tools to guide crisis interventions and promote recovery and resiliency among clients
- Document all interactions in the electronic health record, adhering to organizational standards and policies
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in behavioral health, substance use, or psychiatric healthcare-related field
- At least two years of experience managing high-risk, high-acuity, or crisis patients in a mental health or substance use setting
- Preferred experience in behavioral health and contact center environments
- Knowledge of Medicaid managed care and behavioral health systems
- Familiarity with crisis assessment and intervention practices
