Leading energy regulatory advocacy in Oklahoma, the full-time salaried Oklahoma Energy Market Negotiator will design and negotiate utility tariffs and agreements, develop market strategies, and collaborate with stakeholders to secure clean and reliable power for data center operations, with opportunities for remote work.

Key responsibilities
  • Lead energy policy and regulatory framework design, negotiating innovative utility tariffs and agreements with Oklahoma utilities and stakeholders
  • Act as a liaison between Oklahoma utilities, state regulators, and internal teams to develop long-term energy policy and market strategies
  • Identify and pursue new energy supply and regulatory initiatives to meet Google's data center needs for clean power and utility capacity
Required qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Energy Policy, Engineering, Economics, Law, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 10 years of experience leading negotiations or business development
  • 7 years of experience in energy industry negotiations and agreement structuring
  • 5 years of experience in developing market, policy, or regulatory engagement strategies within the U.S. energy sector
  • 3 years of experience managing cross-functional infrastructure or energy supply projects with external stakeholders
