Oklahoma Licensed Adjunct Instructor

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Adjunct Faculty member for the School of Teacher Education specializing in elementary or early childhood education.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach assigned undergraduate courses in the School of Teacher Education
• Provide quality instruction, track attendance, and assist with scheduling field experiences
• Communicate regularly with the Chair and/or Director regarding course-related matters

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• M.S. or PhD in elementary or early childhood education with 18 hours of upper-division coursework
• Valid Oklahoma teaching certificate
• Experience teaching in K-12 settings, preferably in early childhood or elementary education
• Oklahoma residency
• Preferred experience in various teaching delivery formats and certifications related to reading and phonics
