Key Responsibilities

Oversees cancer case ascertainment, review, and assignment to registry staff
Coordinates staff education and training related to cancer registry operations
Tracks and reports data points for abstracting productivity and quality improvement

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree required
5 or more years of progressive experience in a Commission on Cancer accredited facility required
Oncology Data Specialist (ODS) certification required
Advanced knowledge of cancer registry operations and software
Familiarity with American College of Surgeons' standards and requirements
