Job Summary
To support a temporary assignment, the Oklahoma Licensed Claims Adjuster will adjudicate indemnity workers' compensation claims of higher technical complexity remotely, with responsibilities including investigating claims, reporting trends, and managing litigation.
Key responsibilities
- Adjudicate complex workers' compensation claims with a direct impact on departmental results
- Investigate claims thoroughly, including interviewing involved parties and analyzing relevant documentation
- Negotiate settlements and prepare reports for file documentation
Required qualifications
- Minimum of five years' experience adjudicating workers' compensation claims in MN, OK, & SD
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or equivalent experience
- Oklahoma license required at the start of the assignment
- Strong claim negotiation skills and excellent business acumen
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and other business-related software
