Job Summary
As a full-time Oklahoma Licensed Pharmacist working remotely, the successful candidate will manage prescription verification, provide patient counseling via phone, and collaborate with prescribers to ensure safe and efficient medication dispensing.
Key responsibilities
- Verify and clinically assess new and refill prescriptions for accuracy and safety
- Conduct proactive patient counseling calls to educate on medications and adherence
- Collaborate with prescribers to clarify prescriptions and minimize dispensing delays
Required qualifications
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an ACPE-accredited College of Pharmacy
- Active Oklahoma Pharmacy License in good standing
- Strong command of the English language; bilingual Spanish preferred
- Demonstrated ability to perform high-volume prescription verification accurately
- Strong technical aptitude for pharmacy management systems and verification platforms
