Job Summary
To support student success, the part-time Oklahoma Licensed School Counselor will provide individual and group counseling, conduct assessments, and collaborate with educational staff and families in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver individual and group counseling addressing academic, personal, social, and career development needs
- Conduct assessments to identify students' strengths and develop appropriate intervention plans
- Facilitate classroom lessons and workshops on various topics, including study skills and career planning
Required qualifications
- Master's degree in School Counseling, Counseling Psychology, or a related field from an accredited program
- Current state licensure or certification as a School Counselor or eligibility for licensure
- Previous experience as a School Counselor in an educational setting (preferred)
- Strong understanding of child and adolescent development and counseling techniques
- Proficiency in assessment and crisis intervention techniques
