Oklahoma Licensed School Counselor

Job Summary

To support student success, the part-time Oklahoma Licensed School Counselor will provide individual and group counseling, conduct assessments, and collaborate with educational staff and families in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver individual and group counseling addressing academic, personal, social, and career development needs
• Conduct assessments to identify students' strengths and develop appropriate intervention plans
• Facilitate classroom lessons and workshops on various topics, including study skills and career planning

Required qualifications

• Master's degree in School Counseling, Counseling Psychology, or a related field from an accredited program
• Current state licensure or certification as a School Counselor or eligibility for licensure
• Previous experience as a School Counselor in an educational setting (preferred)
• Strong understanding of child and adolescent development and counseling techniques
• Proficiency in assessment and crisis intervention techniques
