Job Summary
Providing clinical support and education to patients receiving home enteral therapy, the full-time Oklahoma Licensed Telephonic Nurse will conduct post-discharge assessments, answer clinical questions, and ensure successful treatment outcomes in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Contact new patients within 24-48 hours of discharge to complete nursing assessments
- Provide clinical guidance and education regarding enteral therapy to patients and caregivers
- Respond to patient and caregiver calls involving clinical questions or issues and escalate concerns as needed
Required qualifications
- Nursing degree required
- Active nursing license required in applicable state(s)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Adult and/or pediatric nursing experience preferred
- Experience with enteral nutrition, home health, or patient education preferred
