Job Summary

Evaluating treatment plans for mental health and substance abuse, the full-time Oklahoma Licensed Utilization Review Clinician will perform clinical reviews and prior authorization assessments remotely, ensuring the appropriateness of care and services while working Tuesday to Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct clinical reviews to assess the medical appropriateness of mental health and substance abuse treatments
• Perform prior authorization and concurrent reviews to determine treatment needs and discharge planning for behavioral health inpatients
• Engage with healthcare providers and leadership to enhance quality and efficiency of care delivery

Required qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing or Bachelor's degree with 2-4 years of related experience
• Master's degree required for behavioral health clinicians
• State licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, LPC, LMFT, LMHP, or RN
• Clinical knowledge of mental health and substance abuse treatment plans preferred
• Experience with the mental health and substance abuse utilization review process preferred
