Okta Certified Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Okta Certified Engineer will manage the migration of identity governance processes from IBM Tivoli to Okta Identity Governance, focusing on implementing and configuring OIG features while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with IT operations, security, application development, and business stakeholders to ensure seamless migration and implementation of identity governance processes
• Design, develop, and maintain identity and access management solutions, ensuring compliance with security best practices
• Implement and configure Okta Identity Governance features, including Lifecycle Management, Access Certification, and Okta Workflows

Required qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of IT professional experience, with at least 4 years in IT Security
• 3+ years of experience with Okta core functionalities, including Lifecycle Management and Access Governance
• Certified as an Okta Certified Administrator; additional certifications in Okta workflows or as a developer are preferred
• More than 2 years of hands-on experience implementing custom identity solutions with Okta
• Strong understanding of IAM concepts, including user provisioning and authentication protocols
