Okta Data Engineer

Job Summary

To support national security efforts, the full-time remote Okta Data Engineer will manage user identities, integrate diverse data sources, and oversee authentication ecosystems using Okta's Universal Directory and related technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Execute hands-on integration of applications using SAML 2.0, OIDC, and OAuth 2.0 protocols within Okta for secure user access
• Deploy and configure Okta Access Gateway (OAG) for secure authentication of on-premises and legacy web applications
• Design and implement User Access Controls and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) policies to enhance access governance

Required qualifications

• 5 years' experience with Okta Universal Directory
• Experience deploying and managing Okta Access Gateway (OAG)
• Experience in Okta Identity Management lifecycles
• Active professional certifications in Okta, Red Hat Linux, and Microsoft Active Directory
• Ability to work remotely while maintaining an Eastern Time Zone schedule
